Open the voicemail. Use Share. Save to Files or Voice Memos. Give it a name you will recognize in a year. If your carrier app offers “save” or “share,” use that. The goal is an audio file on the phone, not a row in Recents.
Step 2 — Put a copy where you will actually hear it
Files is insurance. Memora is remembering. Share the same recording into Memora and it can come back on a random day. That is the difference between an archive and a memory.
- Keep the Files copy even after you save to Memora.
- Do not count on a chat backup as the only audio copy.
- If the voicemail is still only in Phone, it is not kept forever yet.
What “forever” still requires
No app can promise a file will survive a phone you throw away without a backup. Keep the exported file in iCloud Drive or another backup you control. Memora is how you feel the memory again. The file is how you still have it.
